Dan Cohen’s dedication to the healing art of acupuncture has taken him on an international journey to complete his theoretical and clinical studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Dan Cohen gained deep knowledge in TCM theory as a student under one of France’s most renowned acupuncturists; Andre Faubert. Professor Faubert ranked Dan Cohen as one of his 3 top students out of 30 years of teaching. This granted Dan Cohen the privilege to follow Professor Faubert in his own clinical practice and graduate with honors. Immediately after graduation, Dan Cohen left France to study in acupuncture’s country of origin; China. For the following one and one half years, he completed acupuncture seminars and clinical practicums in respected colleges and hospitals of TCM in Beijing, Guangzhou and Tianjin, China. He was privileged to be the first foreign student to receive a diploma from the Tianjin 1st Teaching Hospital and was presented with his certification by Director Shi Xue Ming, a highly respected doctor of acupuncture in China. Since his studies in France and China, Dan Cohen has worked as a practitioner of acupuncture in Paris, France; Casablanca, Morocco; Montreal, Quebec and presently, here in Miami, Florida.

Dan Cohen is a highly compassionate practitioner who integrates a holistic perspective; mind, body and spirit, into healing. He integrates a sophisticated French theoretical basis in acupuncture with the rich experience of and traditions of top Chinese doctors of acupuncture. Dan Cohen is an advocate of educating his clients in Traditional Chinese Medical theory, teaching them how to incorporate it into their daily lives. He empowers his clients by helping them embrace healthy living habits and exercises such as Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong to promote balanced living and healing. Dan Cohen is fluent in the languages of French and English.
